A few words of introduction...
Translating is an investment in time, energy, or even sometimes deep personal feelings, whether you want to help somebody, send a message or sell the fruit of your labour. The kind of translation you want depends on the kind of return you expect from it. A quickly and cheaply done (although not always so cheap) translation will guarantee you a matching response.
Most translation firms, agencies, companies, with their array of (always cheaply paid) translators, and the so-called on-line translators, will guarantee you an anonymous, average… work, any time, in any language, any field, any format, anything you want... If however you’d rather a customized translation, a translator you know you can refer to for a specific problem, why don’t you try a real passionate freelance translator ? |

A few indiscretions... |
Of dual citizenship Belizean-French (just in case…, Belize is a small bilingual English / Spanish country in Central America on the Caribbean Sea, ex British Honduras), I shared my (already!) 49 years of life between my two beloved countries Belize and France, with episodes of travel (one needs to expand his mind…) in the United States (about a dozen stays, up to a year long), The United Kingdom (about as many trips), Ireland, Australia, New Caledonia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Maldives, Spain, Guatemala, Mexico and a few others...
I hold degrees and certificates from Cambridge, England (A level), University of Lille, France (Maîtrise de Géologie) and University of Mississippi, Oxford, USA (Masters in Biology and courses in American literature and Art History at post-graduate level). |

| I have taught at university level in English the following topics: Biology, Chemistry, and English. I also taught French in the US and Belize. I am happily married with four children, 3 boys and one girl (she is the lucky one in the family as she holds three passports: Belizean, French and Mexican, being born in Mexico). I am presently based about 9 months a year in beautiful sunny South of France between Nîmes and Montpellier, in Gard. I have a long experience in Tourism, and was a member of the board of directors of the Belize Tourism Industry Association (BTIA) for several years. I enjoy writing on Travel and Tourism, in both English and French, in various magazines and on the net, especially on Belize of course. |
